Spotlight Cloud monitors the SQL Server on-premise connections in your organization. Use this documentation to connect Spotlight Cloud to SQL Server.

Supply SQL Server on-premise connection details to Spotlight Cloud.
Grant account permissions
In some environments, it may not be feasible for Spotlight Cloud to connect to the on-premise SQL Server instance with an account that is a member of the sysadmin server role. The following instructions are provided for these environments.
Troubleshoot SQL Server connection failure
When Spotlight Cloud fails to connect to the on-premise SQL Server instance, check the SQL Server address and account authentication details have been entered correctly. Check the availability of the SQL Server instance. If the SQL Server host is a Windows Server and is also monitored then check WMI operability.
