Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server application
The Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server application is installed on a Windows server (on-premise or in the cloud). It collects data from connections monitored through the Spotlight Cloud subscription type SQL Server, and transmits that data to the cloud. The application can be used to configure the Diagnostic Server and monitoring settings such as for alarms and alarm actions and to add and remove monitored connections.

The Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server is a Windows service and can be restarted and stopped via the Windows Control Panel.

Backup all Spotlight Cloud local configuration data regularly and before upgrade or uninstall.
Uninstall the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server application
Follow these steps to uninstall the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server application. Following uninstall, monitoring and performance data will no longer be uploaded from this Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server to Spotlight Cloud.
