To complete these instructions you will need a PagerDuty Integration Key. The instructions in the Spotlight Integration Guide on the PagerDuty web site provide you with the necessary steps: www.pagerduty.com/docs. PagerDuty is a third party product (www.pagerduty.com).
Configure PagerDuty from the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server App
Open the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server App. You will find the app on the desktop of the computer where Spotlight Cloud is installed. Double click on the desktop icon.
Sign in with your Quest account, and then from the Configuration panel, click Diagnostic server.
Select Configure PagerDuty.
Specify your PagerDuty integration key
The Integration Key authenticates the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server to your PagerDuty account.
Click Trigger Test Incident
Click Trigger Test Incident to verify the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server can successfully send an incident report to PagerDuty.
PagerDuty receives incident reports from the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server according to the Alarm Action Rules set in the Alarm Action Editor. No incident reports are sent until you create and enable appropriate rules. See Configure Alarm Actions.
