Spotlight notifications on your mobile device

Scenario

A standard scenario may be:

for a given connection
when a specific alarm is raised
of specific severity (severities)
send a push notification to the mobile device

Receive push notifications on your mobile device

Ensure Spotlight Cloud Mobile is enabled to receive push notifications from Spotlight Cloud. During install of Spotlight Cloud Mobile you may be given the opportunity to disable push notifications. Following install, refer to the instructions for your mobile device.

On an iPhone navigate to Settings | Spotlight. On an android device navigate to Settings | Application manager | Spotlight.

How to send push notifications from Spotlight Cloud

Use the Spotlight Cloud Diagnostic Server App to configure Spotlight Cloud to send push notifications to Spotlight Cloud Mobile. Create Alarm Action rules where the action is to send a push notification to a mobile device. For more information, see Configure alarm actions.
